  2. Comprehensive and Holistic Curriculum: This training offers a deep dive into yoga’s physical, philosophical, and teaching practices. The curriculum includes:
    • Anatomy and Alignment: Learn the mechanics of the body to practice and teach safely, with an emphasis on structural integrity and injury prevention.
    • Sequencing and Theming: Master the art of crafting well-rounded classes that flow seamlessly, integrate meaningful themes, and resonate with diverse students.
    • Teaching Techniques: Develop essential skills such as verbal and visual cueing, offering modifications, and guiding students with clarity and compassion.
    • Yoga Philosophy and Ethics: Explore the eight limbs of yoga, including the yamas and niyamas, to integrate these guiding principles into your teaching and daily life. Study the chakras, koshas, vayus and more, enhancing your understanding of yoga’s philosophical benefits and expanding your perspectives.
    • Pranayama and Meditation: Enhance your personal practice and learn how to guide others in cultivating mindfulness and breath awareness, two of the eight limbs of yoga. These practices are proven to be accessible to and benefit all people in our busy society.
  3. Real-World Teaching Skills: With her extensive background in education, Tracy’s program emphasizes practical teaching techniques. You’ll learn how to observe and adjust students safely, sequence classes effectively, and teach with confidence and compassion in a variety of settings.
  4. International and Retreat Expertise: Tracy’s experience teaching yoga and movement practices at retreat centers like Esalen Institute nationally, and internationally in France, Japan, and Mexico enriches this program with the possibility of teaching where you choose to when you graduate.
  5. Gain a Supportive Community for Your Yoga Journey: Yoga means “yoking together,” and community—kula—is at the heart of this practice. Tracy is still friends and colleagues with people she met during her own yoga trainings, and she wants you to experience the same lifelong connections. Members of this community may uplift and inspire you for years to come.
  6. Transformation and Connection: More than a certification, this program is a transformative journey. You’ll connect deeply with yourself and others, supported by Tracy’s ability to foster meaningful relationships and create a nurturing learning environment.
  7. Professional Certification: This Yoga Alliance-certified training prepares you to become a successful yoga teacher or to bring yoga awareness and teaching skills into any profession of your choice.

During your practicum you can teach clientele of your choice.

— Ingrid Herreid, Co-Founder, Bun on the Run Bakery, Fairbanks, AK

“Tracy’s classes are the best I’ve ever experienced. She delivers vast information in poetic language, and I apply what I learn to my daily life. I feel better physically, mentally, and emotionally—her classes are a blessing.”
