Welcome to Full Life Zoom classes!

If going to a Zoom class, all you need to do is scroll down to your chosen class and click the link below for your specific class to register.

The first time, and once and a while afterwards, you will be asked for a pass code.  Please email or text me for the code.  Then you will be “zoomed” into the waiting room where I will check your name and admit you to the class.  This keeps our class group safe from disruptive people.

If the power goes out and I am unable to initiate classes, please feel free to visit past classes on the Full Life YouTube Channel. You can go directly to the YouTube channel from the button on the homepage.

MONDAY

Description:  Welcome to a moving mindfulness practice.  We start with exploring our breath and inner landscape.  In the Qigong movement practice, we move body with breath and feel into the energy pulsing through us. As we  let go of our daily activities and the mind relaxes, we may release habitually held tension from the body-mind. We become more meditative and heart-centered. Now we can  work on integrating, improving balance, building core tone and resilience. And most importantly, we can work on effortless-effort and relaxation in movement. These classes are a journey of self-discovery, and body-mind-heart awareness. From class, we re-enter our lives in tune with our witnessing self and more aware of our ability to practice ease and flow during each day.

TUESDAY

Description: We begin class with a focus on the breath and turn our gaze inward, the practice of pratayahara.  Once we are breath-aware we remember we are water, awaken the core, and integrate limbs into the core of the body.  From here we step into asana pose sequences.  We stretch, balance, and move into all types of asanas with needed modifications and awareness. We look for stability and fluidity in our poses. This class is a journey of self-discovery,which help us live more consciously in our day-to-day lives, integrating all of our koshas. This is a level two class so previous experience of yoga is important.


WEDNESDAY

Description: This level 1 & 2 Pilates mat class helps students become more aware of the connection of limbs with the spinal core of the body and creating fluid, animal-like movements. As we gain awareness of the muscles we activate when we move, we will strengthen and lengthen the spine, and feel into moving from the core. We move mindfully in this class, slowing down so we make sure we engage the inner core before the outer core to find balance and deep strength.  This class is a great supplement to a yoga practice as well as strengthening us for hiking, biking, skiing, moving furniture, mowing the lawn, gardening and many other activities.


THURSDAY.

Description: Tune into your breath, unwind, and learn to align your body in a variety of yoga poses. Beginners can learn healthy alignment and more advanced students improve alignment to take into a flow class or personal practice. Strengthen your body, improve your balance, stretch yourselves open and then enjoy a restorative posture before savasana.


FRIDAY.

Description: This active Pilates mat class has a faster pace than Wednesday and incorporates more advanced Pilates exercises.  This class helps students become more aware of the connection of limbs with the spinal core of the body.
