Embracing the Dark & Welcoming the Light:  A Half Day Retreat with Adam Stonebraker & Tracy Lease

Sunday,  December 22,  1-4 PM
Mountain Stream Meditation Center
710 Zion Street, Nevada City, CA

As the Winter Solstice celebrates the longest night of the year, we are offered a unique opportunity to turn inward, reflect, and cultivate balance as the light begins its slow return. In this half-day retreat, we will explore how embracing darkness — the stillness, quiet, and unseen potential within — can help us find greater spaciousness and receptivity. Through gentle Qigong movement and Dharma reflections, we will nurture both body and mind, releasing tension, inviting inner warmth, and opening to the renewal that accompanies the return of the light.

Together, we will weave practices of mindful movement, meditation, and reflective inquiry to deepen our connection with the rhythms of nature and our own inner cycles. This retreat is designed for practitioners of all experience levels and aims to support a grounded sense of renewal and clarity as we transition through the solstice. Come as you are and leave feeling refreshed, balanced, and attuned to the light within and around you.
