I’ve been practicing yoga for 10 years now. I can’t say that it has fixed all of my problems or given me the perfect body. It has, however, nudged me towards an adult spiritual life, and given my body the finest peace. It has made my body into a workshop in which I tinker like any hobbyist. I can geek with the best of them when I find a new way to bring space into some tight part of this weary body. I can also find pride in a body that has never delighted me with svelte curves and graceful dance steps. It’s the closest I’ve come to a direct phone call to my insightful, creative and philosophical self. Namaste.
Welcome to Our Studio
Yoga is freedom, play, a state of love, a state of beauty, relaxed openness and a way to restore health, vitality and energy to your life.
Elke has the capacity to draw me into my own body and guide me to unravel what is tight in a way that bypasses old habits of forcing or pushing with the muscles. After a session with Elke, I feel lighter and more spacious, as though layers of holding have been let go. She takes it to an inner space that’s deeper than any teacher I’ve worked with.

Whether in a workshop or a class or one-on-one sessions, I value Judy’s attention to the nuances of poses… how even a slight change can make a big difference. It makes for lifelong learning (and unwinding!) My body (and mind) are grateful to have found her and the Core Opening practice she teaches

Lindy is a dynamic and caring yoga instructor. She is very attentive and creative when it comes to meeting her students needs in terms of direction and pose modification. There are moments when something might not feel quite right as I perform a pose either due to injury or limited mobility; Lindy is immediately able to perceive this and give other options to perform a movement. No matter what shape you are in or your level of experience, I’m sure you will enjoy Yoga for Strength and Agility.

Marianne has been supportive in helping me learn basic poses. She works with us in class individually to find accommodations so that we can “feel into” a pose rather than feeling we have to be perfect at it. Her depth of knowledge of yoga and her sensitivity make her the ideal beginning yoga teacher for me.
As someone with joint problems I never thought I could do yoga. Jill’s yoga class has really helped me. She is very knowledgeable, kind, patient and empowering. I highly recommend it.

Elke is committed to guiding each student at their own pace and consistently reminds each of us to “listen to your body” and each day is part of our own journey. I really appreciate Elke’s acceptance of each student, her calm, caring manner, and her message of yoga being an individual’s journey.

I have taken classes on the chakras, and even taught a chakra class, but I learned some new things in Judy’s“Yoga for Your Meditation” workshop. Especially about how energy comes through our bodies, and the placement of the chakras along the spine. Thank you for being such a caring, inspiring teacher and living your passion. I always feel this in your classes.
Elke’s teaching methods have enabled me to go deeper into my practice which has been very beneficial to me both mentally and physically. I feel that the studio provides a safe, nonjudgmental environment where students of all levels and ages feel comfortable and welcome, something I really appreciate.
I started yoga with Judy Fuller because I was having what seemed to be irresolvable back problems. After working with her, and also doing a home practice as she suggested, I am happy to say that my back issues have disappeared. I am grateful to have had the good fortune to attend Judy’s wonderful, informative classes and look forward to deepening my practice with her inspiring teaching.

I felt very welcome walking into Wendy’s class for the first time. I appreciated her attention to the details of alignment and her cues are excellent. She takes care to make sure everybody enters and exits a pose safely and with purpose.
What sets Elke apart is the combination of her extensive knowledge base, deep and inclusive spirituality, and her gentle nature. Elke’s classes offer both comfort and challenge, a chance to exert and a chance to rest, to push my limits and to accept them. She is a gifted teacher who engages me on all levels of body, mind, and spirit.

This class is ideal for beginners like me or people with special concerns. Jill explains each pose in a clear and systematic way and as needed she adapts them to meet the specific needs of each student. I really enjoy her class.

Elke was very clear in describing the goals of each pose and how to work with your body to attain them. She reassured me to listen to my body and helped work out modifications when needed and encouraged me to stretch to new levels. I have greater physical strength and flexibility, which is what I initially was looking for, but also greater mental clarity, freedom of breath and self-awareness.

Yo-toddler! Is the bomb! Great for kids learning to listen and enjoy body movement at a young age along side mama or papa doing same thing.
Asa and I really love it!
I am regular participant of Lindy’s class. I keep coming back in part because of her enthusiasm for the practice and the nurturing way she provides instruction. Each class is tailored to the level of the students in attendance, with each students being encouraged to reach for incremental improvement at their own pace. I never get the impression that I have failed if a pose is beyond my current ability, just something to work towards. Special attention is given to injuries with personalized modifications offered to avoid aggravating them.

Elke is a dedicated and gifted yoga teacher. She’s always the first person I think of when I recommend yoga to my Rolfing clients because she has a great eye for alignment and an ability to work skillfully with people with physical limitations or injuries. She takes good care of her students: even while she’s inspiring or challenging people, she always watches out for their safety.
Elke’s vast knowledge and understanding of yoga and the body, along with her warm nature and wisdom of the heart combine to create each gift of a class. Her awareness and sensitivity, often fine-tuning every student, make it possible for many to enjoy yoga in spite of possible limitations. We are so grateful to have Elke teaching in our community.
After years of wanting to try yoga I finally took the first step and went to a class taught by my sweet friend Wendy. With just one hour and a half class my body and mind were completely relaxed and I got my first taste of, Yoga bliss!!
Wendy’s sequences are always safe yet challenging enough to be interesting. She always carefully explains and demonstrates everything in the sequence. She teaches both young girls and adults with successful results. Her classes for either yourself or your young daughter are well worth the investment.
Wendy is a very balanced teacher: fun, knowledgeable about asanas…equally concerned about the internal experience/expression of them… She is an effective teacher for students of varying ages and physical conditions.
Wendy is such a wonderful teacher – she’s enthusiastic and energetic, yet has a calm demeanor and is very caring and understanding of her students’ needs and limitations. I’d highly recommend Wendy’s class for anyone who wants to feel great!
Wendy works from her extensive experience in a heartfelt manner. Her classes are relaxed, gentle and safety conscious. It is a whole body workout in a genuinely caring environment…I highly recommend Wendy as a first rate yoga teacher.
I highly recommend Wendy Beesley as a Iyenger style yoga teacher. She is a credentialed educator and has done yoga for over 15 years. She is very attentive to her students, has a wonderful presence, and creates appropriate sequences for her students. She understands the subtleties and challenges of good yoga instruction.
As an endurance athlete for several decades, I need to improve the flexibility and strength in more areas of my body than ever before to remain competitive. Lindy’s ‘Yoga for Strength and Agility’ class is the perfect complement to the sport-specific training that I do. The class focuses on the underlying stabilizing muscles and joint flexibility that enable a fuller range of motion and power without injury. I highly recommend the class!
