I’ve been practicing yoga for 10 years now. I can’t say that it has fixed all of my problems or given me the perfect body. It has, however, nudged me towards an adult spiritual life, and given my body the finest peace. It has made my body into a workshop in which I tinker like any hobbyist. I can geek with the best of them when I find a new way to bring space into some tight part of this weary body. I can also find pride in a body that has never delighted me with svelte curves and graceful dance steps. It’s the closest I’ve come to a direct phone call to my insightful, creative and philosophical self. Namaste.

I am regular participant of Lindy’s class. I keep coming back in part because of her enthusiasm for the practice and the nurturing way she provides instruction. Each class is tailored to the level of the students in attendance, with each students being encouraged to reach for incremental improvement at their own pace. I never get the impression that I have failed if a pose is beyond my current ability, just something to work towards. Special attention is given to injuries with personalized modifications offered to avoid aggravating them.

Coming from Grass Valley on Hwy 49 take the Gold Flat exit and drive over the freeway on Gold Flat Road to Zion Street, turn right onto Zion Street and make an immediate left onto Providence Mine Road. Turn into the first driveway on the right (buildings 200-208) and go to the second set of buildings, they are #204 on the left and #206 on the right.
Park anywhere, and go down the walk way between the two buildings (204 and 206) and turn left to Suite #112 on the ground floor.
There is ample parking along the side and the back of the buildings.
